We have heard about carpooling since we were young but until today when we have grow older, I wonder if anyone of us have tried carpooling before. A long time ago, people are encouraged to carpool in terms of saving fuel thus saving money. However, there was hardly anyone who pay attention to the calling. Now, things are different. Everything has been pricey and so people are realizing the need to carpool. Why you should carpool?
Saving the environment. Cars produce more Carbon Dioxide as they burn fuel to generate the power to move the cars. The reason why you need to carpool is to make sure there is less cars on the road so that there will be even lesser Carbon Dioxide being released into the air. Carbon Dioxide is also the gas known for causing Global Warming - Green House effect.
Save some dollars. Nowadays, even just a single dollar means so much to everyone. Money is so important that one simply can never live. With the fuel price rising without any signs of stopping, it is advisable to save for the rainy days and also the sunny days. By carpooling, you only need to pay a small amount for the fuel, as the total amount will be divided among the carpoolers.
Reduce the traffic jam. When there is less cars on the road, automatically it will reduce the traffic jam so you can have a smooth journey to work instead of being stuck in the traffic jam for hours. Can you imagine taking hours to reach your working place when it only takes a few minutes to reach there if there is no traffic jam.
Cut down the parking fees. There is one car and four carpoolers. The parking fee is only imposed per car so the fees can be divided into four parts so you get to save a small amount of money. Another great way to save, even just a little bit, but it makes all the difference. The best way is to pay monthly rather than daily. There must be some kind of monthly pass for workers in your office. Check it out.
Meet other people. Usually, you will be so busy working, you hardly notice anyone around you, let alone to socialize with them. When you carpool, you have friends around you so you get to talk to each other and perhaps discuss about the daily issues or simply talk about life and gossip.
